Memoryware was an early 1900's
American folk craft.
Women would gather together their most beloved clutter and embellish forms with it.
I work in a similar manner.
The materials I use are mostly antiques
with memories worn into them.
With these sculptures, I create
a new life for broken and discarded treasures.
